The Honda HRC216HXA commercial lawn mower provides a lot of features and commercial grade parts which
does explain the higher cost. For a self-propelled mower, the Honda HRC216HXA features hydrostatic transmission with ground speeds up to
4 mph. This mower features a commercial-grade, GX Series OHV engine, Roto-Stop® blade control, and a larger fuel tank for longer mowing.
Considering the price, a better investment could be considered in riding lawn mowers for bigger lawns but the Honda HRC216PDA still is a
competitive option. |

Honda HRC216HXA Lawn Mower Reviews
"mower shaft from motor to clutch is a major problem. they know it is a problem and it needs re-engineering."
"I bought this mower in June of '09. It runs great, and the shaft drive transmission has the power of a mule, however I have issues with its quality of cut. It has the twin blade Micro-Cut system, and leaves single blades of uncut grass randomly throughout the yard. The deck doesn't appear to have changed over the past few years, so not sure if it is a bad blade design or what. Not exactly an $1,100.00 cut. Honda at this time denies any issues/complaints of this nature."
"I owned the precursor to this mower for 20 yrs and gave it to a friend. I replaced the old 216 with a new one and it works fine.Left it sit for about 18 mos and it would not start due to fuel in the carb turning to varnish. Having it repaired and serviced now. Should run just fine. "
