The Husqvarna Rider 155 riding mower is not really a zero turn and not really a tractor but kind of a
combination of the two. This riding mower features a front mounted, 41 inch Combi cutting deck and very great steering for very effective cutting
even around obstacles. The Rider runs on a Kohler 15 hp engine with an oil filter and has 16" wheels. This is a different riding mower but seems to
be very good for cutting around obstacles like under bushes and around trees.
Husqvarna Rider 155 Lawn Mower Reviews
"shear keys break constantly resulting in $75 worth of blade damage. Replaced 3 times in one season. Add $15 for new pins and washers and that adds up to an expensive season of mowing on a 1/4 to 1/2 acre lot."
"the biggest problem I have had is service on this mower. No one seems familiar with it and it is expensive for repairs."
"Great Lawn mower and easy to repair (let's face it each lawn mower will require repair at some point in time). I have had this mower since 2003 and love it. I use it on a 3 acre piece of property."
"The Rider 155 is a little more expensive than other riders in it's size but not even in the same class. You can approach hedges head on and cut deeply under them. It is so easy to lift the deck for cleaning and sharpening the blades that it can be done after every mow. Turning is awesome and it is economical on gas. All parts are accessible and the cut is always even. Nice to go forward with the push of one pedal and reverse is just a push of the second pedal. No gears to shift. Overall, if you don't have one, you are just mowing. This machine is a work of art. Mulches with the best."
