Lawn mowers first started out as simple, non-electrical push ones. Although technological has enwrapped the lawn mower, push mowers are still very popular choices when it comes to lawn care tools. Push lawn mowers in their simplest form consisted of a handle that pushes sharpened blades that cut the grass. Push mowers in the present also consist of electrical parts for powering the blades but still require someone to push it over the grass that needs to be cut. There are wide selections of push mowers available and these models are usually the more affordable ones because they contain the least amount of electrical and mechanical parts. Push mowers are also better maintenance wise for this same reason. As mentioned push mowers come in two categories, the ones with motors powering the blades and the ones that require human motion.

Push reel mowers were some of the first tools used for cutting grass and they still remain a decent option. Although these models do not have as many amenities as their mechanical counterparts, they still get the job done with some effort. These types of mowers take the most effort and may require several pushes over an area to properly cut but they are the quietest and cleanest for the environment. Many people have experienced the loud sound of a mower in the morning and a push reel mower pretty much eliminates all this. Push reel mowers are usually the cheaper and lighter models as well. For those who want a work out or care alot about the environment, then these push mowers are hands down the best option. |

This makes them easier to mow with than push reel models but come with the price of motors that either require electrical power or gas power. These lawn mowers are in abundance and many manufacturers have a model available.
